Sal DiGiovanniDirector of Training and Professional Development and Co-School Director
Sal DiGiovanni oversees all aspects of the Premier Training Academy. In 2011, he was responsible for completing New York and New Jersey’s mandatory security training for approximately 5,500 security officers. Sal is a hands-on Director and is in charge of the day to day operations of the Academy. Sal also oversees specialized training offered to organizations and businesses seeking to correct deficiencies, or create new skills, in their security staff. He also develops and administers “quarterly” training for security executives and management teams.

Sal comes to the Premier Training Academy after completing 21 successful years of service with the NYC Transit Police and subsequently, the NYPD. He is a certified NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services Master Instructor, NYS Bureau of Municipal Police Peace Officer Instructor (both unarmed and armed), NYS DCJS Security Guard Instructor (General Topics and Armed), New Jersey (SORA) Security Officer Instructor, CPR/AED/First Aid Instructor with the American Red Cross and a NRA Shotgun/Rifle/Pistol Instructor.

Robert HopesSenior Vice President of Client Relations and Administrative Programs at FJC Security and Co-School Director
Robert Hopes is a retired NYPD Detective with over 30 years of security management experience. Robert joined FJC in 2000 and serves as Vice President of Client Relations and Administrative Programs. As the liaison between FJC and clients, he works with mid to upper level management to ensure the integrity of the security program and add a layer of upper management communications. Robert conducts comprehensive client meetings and ensures client satisfaction. He develops and implements product roll-out strategies to ensure that customers are aware, educated, and able to take full advantage of new enhancements, products and services.

As Vice President, Robert develops and implements support strategies for national accounts to ensure that the customer experience will be a model for retaining new and longstanding customer relationships. Robert is also responsible for national registration and licensure requirements and FJC internal administrative programs. Robert also provides executive oversight to FJC’s fleet management program, facility management program and internal training programs. Robert holds membership in a number of professional law enforcement and security organization and is an ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP). Robert reports directly to the Senior Vice President and Chief Security Officer.
